This triptych celebrates Far Eastern culture and Chinese Tibetan handicrafts, presenting a complex composition that can be dissected into three simple still lifes. Each painting in this series is dominated by a base color, with black being prominent here. Amidst basic geometric shapes like cubes and polyhedra, various living creatures such as birds, beetles, and even a lizard interact with their surroundings. This interplay between living and non-living elements resembles a theater where every participant has a crucial role. The painting symbolizes the inseparable unity of our world, where everyone, including humans, fulfills their designated role in the eternal cycle of life. Upon closer examination, more participants of the performance can be discovered, inviting viewers to study the painting meticulously, as is characteristic of Tatyana Palchuk’s works.
