In the artist-teacher’s workshop, a surreal atmosphere reigns, unbounded by conventional limits. At the forefront sits the practical worktable of a painter-pedagogue, adorned with all the tools of the trade: paints, brushes, materials, and a coffee pot accompanied by a cup, with the owner’s cat at its center, a vigilant observer. Meanwhile, in what seems like a separate painting within the same space, the artist depicts a girl seated beside a sunlit window, her loyal dog patiently awaiting her return. The vibrant red beret worn by the girl serves as a striking contrast to the red accents on the foreground worktable, resulting in an intriguing compositional harmony. This fusion of reality and surrealism captures the unique atmosphere that Master Tatjana Palchuk of the New Renaissance is adept at creating.
