Against a backdrop of iconic gold hues, the essence of modern progress takes center stage. Dark, gray symbols of the industrial and technological revolution emerge factory buildings with sooty chimneys piercing the golden sky. Amidst this industrial landscape, a white religious structure, architecturally Orthodox Christian, stands in stark contrast, symbolizing a desperate struggle for existence amidst human-induced pollution. Golden rain cascades upon the industrial environment, as if attempting to cleanse and transform it. It’s a scene of conflict and confrontation, yet we recognize that both sides must coexist and contend with each other indefinitely. True to Tatyana Palchuk’s style, the depiction is simultaneously surreal and real, conveying the idea of the eternal struggle between opposites, presented in a manner that is both abstract yet deeply comprehensible.
