Qiu Sheng Xian, a renowned contemporary artist based in Shanghai, is known for his unique Mother and Son and Fuwa Integration style of painting. He holds various prominent positions in the arts and culture field, such as Branch Director of Chinese Artists and Vice Chairman of Chinese Arts Association. Qiu’s artworks blend classical Chinese art with contemporary expressionism, particularly in his portraits of Chinese women. His paintings skillfully juxtapose historical and fashionable elements, spiritual and material aspects, and logical and contradictory elements, challenging viewers’ perceptions and promoting freedom of expression. Qiu’s art celebrates the nobility and greatness of the human spirit.

His integration of oriental classics with modern concepts has earned him recognition and appreciation from both public and private collectors. Qiu has received several art awards, including the Excellent Award at The 8th National Art Exhibition and The Most Shining Star at the Real Star 2012 Frankfurt Century Hall Award Ceremony.

Qiu has held numerous solo exhibitions worldwide, including in Berlin, Florence, Shanghai, Beijing, and Hong Kong. His works are collected globally by esteemed corporations and art organizations, including The White House and IBM Corporation.

Notable private collectors of Qiu’s art include The White House (United States), Mr. Gerhard Schroder (former Chancellor of Germany), Mr. Bernd Freier (CEO of German fashion brand S. Oliver), Mr. Jean-Pascal Tricoire (CEO of Schneider Electric), and others.
